Steps to update joomla version via admin panel

Step 1: Log in to your Joomla admin dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Checking Joomla! update status menu.
Step 3: After this you will be redirected to the Joomla update page, click on the Options menu.
Step 4: In the pop-up window, select Short Term Support in the drop-down menu next to Update server line. Then click Save & Close.
Step 5: After you switch the settings, Joomla will detect an available update. Click on Install the update to proceed with the latest version.
Step 6: It will take a few seconds to migrate your content, once the migration is over, you will be logged out from the admin area and redirected to the login page of Joomla latest version.
Step 7: Log in to the dashboard again and you will see a notification about the successful migration.
