How to put Drupal in maintenance mode via Dashboard?

Step 1: Log in to your Drupal Admin site.
Step 2: Click “Configuration”.
Step 3: Look for Development panel and click “Maintenance mode”.
Step 4: Tick the checkbox “Put site into maintenance mode”.
Step 5: Enter your custom message in the “Maintenance mode message” field.
Step 6: Click “Save configuration” button.
Step 7: The changes will be saved.
