How to change the page content order in Drupal

By default the latest content in Drupal is displayed on the top of the page. If you would like to have a content item displayed above others, you can use the sticky option. To stick a content item,

Step 1: Log in to your Drupal admin area

Step 2: Go to Administer and then Content management

Step 3: Select Content

Step 4: Choose Edit for the article you wish to “stick”.

Step 5: You will find the sticky option under Publishing options.

Step 6: Check the “Sticky at top of lists” option and click the save button.

Step 7: If you would like to change the ordering of already published items, you will need to change their publish date.

Step 8: Go to Administer and then Content management

Step 9: Select Content

Step 10: Choose Edit for the desired article then choose Authoring information.

Step 11: Edit the “Authored on:” field accordingly.

Step 12: Note that content items with the most recent dates will be displayed on top of the pages.
