How to upgrade magento version?

Step 1: Login to the magento admin panel.
Step 2: Go to “Manage Existing Extensions” and click “Check for Updates”.
Step 3: Extensions that can be updated will have a yellow background colour.
Step 4: Click on the dropdown menu behind the extensions that can be updated and choose the newest Magento version.
Step 5: Once you’ve selected everything scroll down and click on “Commit changes”.
