Step 1: Login to your cPanel account.
Step 2: Select the Directory Privacy option under FILES.
Step 3: Select the directory that you would like to navigate to the pop-up menu.
Step 4: Select the folder that you want to protect with password and click Save option.
Step 5: In the respective field, you have to enter the username and password.
Step 6: Finally click Save option.
Step 7: You have protected your directories with password.
