How to install a Component in Joomla

Step 1: Download the component to your desktop
Step 2: Log into your Joomla Dashboard
Step 3: In the top menu, hover over Extensions and then click Extension Manager
Step 4: Under Upload Package File, click Browse and select the component that you downloaded in step 1 above. Then click Upload & Install.
Step 5: When the component has been uploaded and installed successfully, you will receive a confirmation message.
Step 6: Some Components may have additional steps to take after the basic upload and installation, as is the case of the Kunena Component. These steps will vary based on the component you’re using.
