Step 1: Login to your cPanel account that is hosted under Oryon server.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Directory Privacy’ option under Files section of cPanel.
Step 3: Locate your Wordpress installation directory and select the ‘wp-admin’ folder.
Step 4: Now check the “Password protect this directory” box and enter the name for the protected directory.
Step 5: Create the username and password for the ‘wp-admin’ directory protection.
Step 7. Click “Save” button.
Once you enabled the password protection for the ‘Wp-admin’ directory, it will prompt for username and password whenever you access the Wordpress admin URL.
