Step 1: First, log into your PrestaShop admin interface.
Step 2: From the main dashboard, use the upper toolbar, hover over Shipping and click on Shipping from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: This brings you to the main Shipping page. Look for the field labeled Handling charges. The default setting is 2, which sets the charge to $2. Change it to 0 to remove it or change it to whatever you wish.
Step 4: Once you have changed or remove the handling charge, click on the green Save button in the upper right corner. Below is a shot of a shopping cart both before and after the default handling charge is removed
