How to Open a document from a document library?

Step1: Go to a SharePoint site.

Step2: Open the document library (usually named Documents).

Step3: Select a document.

Step4: Do any of the following:

Step5: Select Open > Open in browser.

Step6: If you have the desktop app installed on your computer and want to use it, select a file and then select Open > Open in app.
