Step 1: Tiny MCE, the default text editor which is installed with Joomla! has limited options for working with images. Consider using another text editor like JCE.
With JCE installed on your site:
select the image
then click the image icon in the toolbar
Step 2: You’ll have access options like alignment, margins and border, as well as image dimensions and the image ALT text
