How to Edit a file using the HTML Editor

Step 1: Login to Oryon cPanel account
Step 2: Select ‘File Manager’ under the section ‘Files’ on cPanel home screen.
Step 3: For moving a file to another directory, choose a file or folder to move it.
Step 4: Locate the file and right click then choose ‘Edit’ option
Step 5: Now choose the HTML Editor icon.
Step 6: Select the character set encoding that the file uses. The default is utf-8 (Unicode).

Note: Make sure that you select the correct character encoding for the file. Otherwise, the file may become corrupted.

Step 7: Click on ‘Edit’ and The file’s contents appear in a new page, ready for editing.
Step 8: To change the formatting, use the formatting toolbar. For example, you can change the font size and text alignment, add bulleted and numbered lists, and much more.
Step 9: To view the web page’s HTML source code, click Source at the bottom of the editor window.
Step 10: To preview the web page, click Preview at the bottom of the editor window.
Step 11: Once you are done, click on the ‘Save’ button to save the changes were made.
