How to change the admin username in Joomla

Step 1: Login to admin area

Step 2: Go to Users select User Manager.

Step 3: Select the check box next to the administrator user name

Step 4: Click on the Edit button located at the top-right Joomla menu.

Step 5: In the Edit Profile section you should modify the name in the Login Name field.

Step 6: Save the change.
