How to assign permissions for users via drupal admin dashboard

Step 1: Login to Drupal site admin dashboard.
Step 2: Now click on the People link and go to ‘Administration’ menu.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Permissions’ option on top of the current screen.
Step 4: Now you can add or remove the permissions for various type of users includes ‘Anonymous User’, ‘Authenticated User’ and ‘Administrator’
Step 5: Kindly note that a role is a way of giving selected permissions to a group of users
Step 6: Once you are done, click on the ‘Save’ button to apply the changes.
