How to add categories in existing WordPress post

Step 1: Login to wordpress admin dashboard

Step 2: Go to Posts and then Categories.

Step 3: To add a category, simply type its name in the Category Name field.

Step 4: If you wish, you can also type a category slug, description and choose a parent item.

Step 5: Then click Add Category

Step 6: Now, your new category will be created.
