How do I enable SMTP Authentication Outlook 2013

Step 1: Go to the ‘File’ tab.
Step 2: Click on ‘Account Settings’ .
Step 3: Select email account you need to update.
Step 4: Under the Server Information section, ensure that the box marked Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is set.
Step 5: Click the tick box “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”, and ensure that the circle-box “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” is selected.
Step 6: Click OK to close the Internet Email Settings box.
Step 7: Click the Finish button to close the Internet E-mail Settings box.
Step 8: Click the Close button to close the Account Settings box. SMTP authentication has now been enabled.
