What type of payment mode do you accept?

Currently we accept credit card payment via Paypal, Internet Banking transfer and cheque.

Do you have a trial account which I can try first before making up my mind?

We do not provide trial account. However we do have a 30 days money back guarantee with no question asked if you would like to opt for a refund.

Do you offer phone support?

At this point in time, we do not offer phone support. We have found ticket/email based support to be the most efficient, allowing our staff to multi-task and provide faster response times. For urgent issues, we do provide real-time live chat support. It should also be noted that we monitor our servers 24x7, and are generally aware of server-level issues prior to a ticket being opened.

Do you perform daily backups?

We do perform daily backups which are intended for restoration in the case of server failure. However, you should also be performing your own backups for cases where you have an issue that is isolated to your account (for example accidentail deletion of a file, etc.). It is possible to generate backups within the control panel and then find it within the "backups" folder of FTP, which can then be downloaded to your local work station.

The more backups you have, the safer your data will be, so we highly recommend pursuing this.

All the physical servers are in M1 Datacentre, Singapore

If I wish to upgrade my plan, how is the charges calculated?

For upgrading, the charges will be prorated according to the number of months left. For example, if the customer have Standard Plan for 10 months and wish to upgrade to Business, he or she just need to pay 2 months of difference between Standard and Business etc 2 x ($20 - $10) = $20

How does Oryon offer unmetered data transfer?

Each server has a dedicated bandwidth connection of at least 5 mbps. The bandwidth is shared among all users accounts on the server. In order to prevent any abuse of bandwidth or a certain account in the server causing slow access speed for other web hosting accounts, we introduced a bandwidth throttling module that capped the maximum connection speed of the account with exceedingly high bandwidth usage.

For users with constant high traffic for the hosting accounts, we recommend upgrading to virtual private server for dedicated bandwidth.

Will you help me in the transition from my previous host?

Our team can migrate existing website content and databases. After your account is activated, simply contact support@oryon.net with the login details of your old account. Our typical turn-around time for migrations is 24 hours (separate from account activation time).

What is your average server uptime?

Historically our web hosting servers have maintained an average uptime of above 99.9%. This includes scheduled maintenance and unexpected interruptions as well. We strive to continue maintaining the highest uptime possible.

Do you provide SSH access?

SSH access for our customers is disabled at the moment due to security concerns.

Is JSP, ASP, .Net, Ruby on Rails supported on the server?

These languages are not supported for use on the web hosting server.
